I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like I've been doing a lot more shopping then usual these past few weeks (as if I don't already shop enough). Last summer all of our trips and events were canceled, not to mention I wasn't going into the office. Hanging out with friends and family was typically an at home affair, so I had no need to shop for a new outfit. Now that my life is starting to get busy again, I'm ready to ditch the leggings and tee shirts and swap them in for some actual outfits. How is it already the middle of March?! Ironically, as I was writing this post, a memory came up on my instagram from a year ago to the day. My caption in the post mentioned that I would be staying in all weekend (because we were told to quarantine). Little did I know, we'd be staying in for far more than just a couple days. A year later, we are still for the most part, staying in. Somehow this year has both flown by and dragged, all at the same time.
One thing the Pandemic has definitely made us appreciate is our many streaming service subscriptions (and all our family and friends that let us use their log in's 😉). Below is a list of shows that Nick and I loved to watch during the past 12 months that hopefully you'll enjoy just as much....to be fair some we binged before the pandemic, but I loved them so much they had to make the cut!!

Let's face it, the way to get to (most) men's hearts is through food, alcohol, sports, and something else not to be mentioned here. As women, we try so hard to find the most perfect gift for our guys (as we should), but guys are pretty simple. I feel like unless they hint at something specific, we should stick to the basics and expand on that.
Something else I like to consider when it comes to Valentine's Day Gifts, is that it doesn't need to be extravagant. We just got through the holidays not even 2 months ago, and you more then likely already got your guy something you knew he really wanted, or spent a decent amount of time searching for the perfect gift. While I gave some suggestions that are on the pricer side, Valentine's day gifts dont need to be! Something as small as boxers, candy (delivered in a cute, personalized form), or even a really sweet card should be just enough!
I'm sure whether you use this guide or not, whatever you get your significant other, they will love, because it came from you, and that's really what matters right?

Just like everything else this year, New Years Eve celebrations will be a little different for most of us. Since Nick and I began dating, our New Years Eve tradition was to attend a large gala type party. We would get dressed up and head out of the city to meet his family and friends at a venue close to his childhood home. There was a cocktail hour, sitdown dinner, and an open bar. The best part though, was the DJ who would play all the best songs so we could dance the night away. Boy do I wish we could have another evening like that! Unfortunately, this tradition will need to be put on hold.

We all have that one friend. The one that starts decorating for the holidays in September, and honestly I applaud them for having so much holiday cheer. Normally I feel like decorations shouldn't be switched over until after Thanksgiving, but this year, I think the earlier the better. We are all spending much more time at home this year, giving us more time to enjoy the decorations. I also think after the year we've had, we could all use just that much more cheerfulness.

That friend can always find a way to relate any situation to the show, they quote the show constantly, and probably have their fair share of clothes and accessories.
