I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like I've been doing a lot more shopping then usual these past few weeks (as if I don't already shop enough). Last summer all of our trips and events were canceled, not to mention I wasn't going into the office. Hanging out with friends and family was typically an at home affair, so I had no need to shop for a new outfit. Now that my life is starting to get busy again, I'm ready to ditch the leggings and tee shirts and swap them in for some actual outfits. Reguardless of what your upcoming plans entail, there are some great sales for everyone! Check out some of the best sales I found!

Friday, January 22, 2021
We are just a few short weeks away from Valentine's Day, crazy, I know. With the ongoing circumstances, this year may look a little different for you, or it could look exactly the same. Just like any holiday, everybody celebrates different. I've created several looks in hopes that you can find some inspiration for what to wear for however you choose to celebrate the day (or even for celebrating all week!)

Memorial day is going to look a little different this year. While we can't do a lot of the things we love to do over the long weekend, online sales are still going on. I'm linking my favorite sales for you to shop this weekend. While we may not be able to shop in the malls, doesn't mean we can't get great deals from our couch!!

So I'll start this one out by saying, I've heard great things about Golden Goose sneakers (which is why I wanted a pair in the first place). With that being said, I can't wrap my head around paying that much money for a pair of sneakers, especially with everything going on in the world right now.

I think this may be one the easiest day to night outfits I've ever worn in the winter, and also so easy for anyone to recreate. Honestly, you probably have most of these pieces in your closet already!
With so much going on last Friday, I wanted to wear something that would be appropriate for work, but I could also wear out after, and this outfit did the trick. I've had this cozy cardigan in the back of my closet for ages, after I put it on the other day, I was so confused why I haven't been wearing it more often! This one is from a few seasons back, but I've linked a few other tan cardigans as well if you don't already have one (or if not tan, any color cardigan would work here).
I wore a silky tank underneath my cardigan. I feel like this dressed it up a bit rather then just wearing a cotton tee or tank. At night, you could take the cardigan off completely, or let it hang off one shoulder. The one I'm wearing I recently bought at Banana Republic Factory, it does fit true to size- I'm wearing an XS.
Any jeans will work here, but if you do want my high-waisted pair, I've also linked that below. The pair I'm wearing I bought at HM. I don't think I've ever spoken to how great they are on the blog, but let me tell you guys, for only $20 they are worth it. I wear them all the time and they are surprisingly pretty comfortable!Any cute bootie will also do the trick with this outfit. If you really like mine however, you find find that link as well.
To round up my outfit, I threw on this layered necklace. Another affordable piece that I always seems to get a ton of compliments. It is only $15 and also comes in silver.
Lastly, if you want a good laugh, please view the second photo for a perfect instagram VS. reality. I'd say this is how I look at Nick 99.9% of the time when we shoot, probably just in a normal conversation also!

How is it almost 2019?! You guys, is it just me, or has this year just flown by?! I feel like I say that every year, but this year seems even more like it went exceptionally fast. Either way, we are going to be ringing in the new year in less then 2 weeks!!
If you're anything like me, you love dressing up for NYE. I love getting dressy, and if it also allows me to throw in a few sequins and glitter (a lot of sequins and glitter), I'm even more thrilled. There were so many great options this year, it was heard to choose one even for myself. I've linked tons of dresses, with styles for those who like to jazz it up, along with some more simple styles. The best part about these dresses is that they are all under (or around) $100, so you can look great without breaking the bank!

There is something about plaid I (apparently we all) can't seem to get away from. While plaid has never really gone out of style, this season it is making an appearance in a big way. I've found so many great pieces, I could probably fill half my closet of plaid at this point. While I try to have some self control, I am linking 10 of my favorite pieces here!
1. Obsessed with this coat from Nordstrom. The colors, the style, the fur. I love everything about it! It is $130, and will be perfect to wear throughout Fall, and maybe even some of winter.
2. I love the tie front detail on this Sanctuary dress from Macys. It is $140, and the most perfect dress for Fall.
3. I recently bought this dress from Forever 21 and it fits perfect. It is only $23, and am so excited to wear it over and over again!
4.If you know me at all, you know I LOVE a good romper. I may or may not have an entire drawer devoted to them, so I obviously couldn't resist this $69 skort romper from Urban Outfitters.
5.I bought a very similar buffalo plaid skirt a few seasons back, and get so many compliments every time I wear it, so I had to add this skirt to the list. It is only $16 from Shein.
6. This wool-blend coat is from Abercrombie and is $140. It also comes in all black, as well as a black and cream plaid.
7. Who else immediately thought of Clueless when they saw this skirt? It is $48 and also from Abercrombie. If your not into the whole Cher thing, it also comes in a striped navy pattern as well.
8. With my love of shoes, I couldn't do this post without adding a pair. I thought these Steve Madden loafers from Nordstrom were fabulous. They are $70, and also come in a few other colors and patterns.
9.You really can't go wrong with a plaid pair of pants. This high waisted pair from Express are among my favorite. They are $88 and also come in petite.

10. Finishing off my top 10 with this little gem, because if you know how much I love rompers, you also know how much I love jumpsuits. This one from Red Dress Boutique is so cute, and reasonably priced at $48.

The little black dress is a classic, it has always been a staple in a women's closet. Over the recent years however, jumpsuits have become a main player in fashion trends. Whether dressy or casual, they are sold just about everywhere, and don't seem to be going anywhere. I believe that with a little black dress, every gal should have a little black jumpsuit in her closet.
I dressed up my favorite little black jumpsuit on my instagram post yesterday which you can find HERE. I got this jumpsuit a few seasons back at the Loft, so unfortunately you cannot find it on their website. If you are digging this one though, I did find that there are a few people selling it on poshmark.
I've also liked a few of my favorite little black jumpsuits below!
I am a sucker for anything with a bow, which is why I am beyond obsessed with the back of this jumpsuit from Nordstrom. It is $149, and also comes in a blue or green.
I love that this $56 backless jumpsuit from LULUs. The pockets also make this jumpsuit a favorite of mine.
Can we talk about these sleeves?! I found this jumpsuit on Revolve , and it is on sale for $83. I think this would make a great jumpsuit to wear to an event in the fall.

The pant leg looking somewhat singed is what sold me on this jumpsuit. I think this jumpsuit would look flattering on someone either tall or short. It is $109, and can be found at Bloomingdales.
The cutout front of this jumpsuit from Loft is to cute. It is $79.50, and I feel could be dressed up a bit too. The only problem I had was that it is not offered in petite, so unfortunately I would not be able to wear this one myself.

This weekend is the unofficial kickoff to summer. While most people have fled the city, I decided to keep it low key and stay here. My schedule is about to become pretty crazy with weddings, vacations, and events, so I thought this would be a good weekend to relax before it all begins. I took the day to walk around the city and explore a little, and while it was kind of peaceful to not be so crowded, it was also a little spooky to being so deserted. I did do a little shopping, and found some great deals. I've listed below some of my favorites, which you still have 2 days left to shop!
Nordstrom- I'm sure we all know by now Nordstrom is having their half yearly sale, but it's still going on, so definitely worth checking out

Just Fab - Also 50% off for VIP members. If you aren't a VIP member (which I also recommend) they are offering the 1st pair of shes you buy for only 10%!

The trends that are emerging for spring and summer bags are definitely ones I have fallen in love with. I have been seeing a lot of straw and cork, bright colors, and unique shapes- specifically circular bags. With that being said, I have also noticed a very large variation of price ranges. Below I have linked some of my favorite bags for the season that are all under $50, some of these are even dupes of similar bags that can be found for twice the price at other stores. Enjoy...and feel free to comment and link below any great bags you've found so far for the upcoming season!
I actually just bought this straw clutch from Target (showing the website image and the outfit I wore it with). For only $19.99, this bag is pretty good in quality, and so cute. The tassels are the perfect little detail, while not taking away the simpleness of the bag. It can be worn with so many different outfits because of this, and I will definitely be getting a lot of use out of it this summer.
Anything that involves pink and pom poms is a true winner in my book. This tote from DSW incorporates both. I think this bag can also be pretty versatile. It could be used as a beach bag, or used for a fun event during the day. Either way, its adorable and only $34.99.
Another DSW bag that I am loving is this little gem. I mean, the text says it all. While I would only stick to using this one at the beach or on vacation, I think it really speaks to us all right?! :)
Like I mentioned, Circular bags have become pretty prominent for Spring and Summer. This one I found at Urban Outfitters. It is only $44, and looks like so many others out there that are much more
expensive.
I am loving all the bright colors in this Express clutch. For day or night, it would a perfect addition to so many outfits. It is $48, but with all the uses you could get out of it, I'd say it's totally worth it.
I mean you guys....a woven backpack?! This ADORABLE little bag from LULUS is only $43, and is perfect to bring along for an afternoon outing. Honestly, I'm considering making it my summer everyday work bag.
Okay, so technically this bag isn't under $50, BUT it is pretty close at $55 from Aldo. It is such a fun and summery bag, it was just to cute not to share. This bag also comes in the shape of a watermelon, if that suits your fancy more. Either way, I'm loving the summer vibes.
This cork clutch from Francescas has subtle colored specks which makes it easy to pair with so many outfits. Only $38, it is perfect for summer and could get a lot of use over the next few seasons.

Now that the weather has finally gotten warmer (lets hope for good), it's finally time to break out all the bright colors.
This outfit is great for a Sunday brunch or casual night out....and perfect for Cinco De Mayo this weekend, if you love celebrating the holiday as much as I do. 😊 My top is very affordable and not extremely see-through, although I wore a cami underneath just to be safe.

It seems that 2 piece sets are starting to show up everywhere. I absolutely love this trend. Not only can they be worn as a coordinated set, but they can be mixed and matched as well. I've been finding so many great sets lately! I've linked a few of my absolute favorites below.

This time of year is so tough. We want to whip out all of our new spring outfits, but the weather just isn't there yet. Take today for example, when I woke up this morning, there was about 2 inches of snow on the ground.Yesterday, as I was taking these photos, I was able to take off my jacket, and not even shiver. The weather is so inconsistent, I'm often torn on which season to dress for.
I wore this navy pinstriped jumpsuit last night for dinner with my boyfriend's family. I didn't want to be too dressed up, which is why I chose to wear it with a jean jacket. If I had chosen to go the dressier route, I would have paired it with a white blazer.
The booties made the outfit feel a bit more spring-ish, and not like I had jumped straight into summer. I rolled up the pant leg to make it look cropped. Funny side story to this - I bought the jumpsuit a few days ago in store and when I tried it on, the length was perfect for me. Then, when I went to the website to link it here, I found this was actually supposed to be a cropped jumpsuit to begin with. The 5'10 model was wearing the same size as me, and it was perfectly cropped. I'm pushing 5'1, so I was oblivious to this when I bought it. Either way, I made it work!
The jumpsuit is made from linen and extremely comfy. There are buttons detailed at the top which I also love. I feel like this is going to be a great jumpsuit to dress up or down, and may become my go-to this season!
